The Collection
The Collection of the Teloglion Fine Arts Foundation is of historical importance. It includes important collections that mark key moments and stylistic developments of Modern Greek and European art, making it one of the most important in Greece. At the same time, Teloglion, having as its main objective the cultural education, it offers numerous periodical / special exhibitions conferences, publications, educational programmes and other actions to public and specialized groups.
In this context, Teloglion consists an extroverted, open, interactive Museum that combines research, education, art, culture, and science with the child, the student, the worker, the elderly, the social groups.
Τhe Objective
Applications will be implemented to enable:
- digital projection (high-resolution photography, 3D scanning, 360 photogrammetry) of selected artworks of Teloglion permanent collection. The existence of ‘hot spots’, where visitors will zoom, analyze and receive information.
- 3D virtual tours and interactions of visitors and researchers with the exhibits and virtual placement of artworks on the premises of Teloglion. Digital projection of future periodical exhibitions by researchers and editors. Ability to digitize artists’ artworks that are hosted to Teloglion.
- Εxperiential learning of artworks conservation (digital, real). Open workshops will be set up, where participants will be able to analyze, document, conserve and synthesize a work of art that will actually be present as a 3D copy.
- Education / entertainment through multimedia educational applications (games), to enrich the overall experience of visitors.

The following results are expected from the implementation and dissemination of the project:

- Interaction of the visitor with a work of art
- Improving their experience (real and digital) and cultivating aesthetic education.
- Individualized learning process (presentation of information depending on the level of knowledge and interests)

The objective of this project is the design and the development of targeted actions and innovative applications with the aim of highlighting the importance and superiority of the permanent collection of Teloglion to the general public and to specialized groups of visitors as well as to strengthen and ameliorate the educational workshops to individual groups.
The aim is to enhance the experience and the experiential learning – entertainment of visitors through interactive, modern educational and multimedia methods.

The platform will be continuously enriched, being a valuable tool for viewing and research.

Experiential education / entertainment through multimedia educational applications (games), to enrich the overall experience of visitors.
Also, a workshop within Teloglion will be created: Selected artworks will provide specialized information via a specific QR-code that visitors will scan with their smartphones/tablets, as well as laptops with embedded multimedia applications will enrich visitors’ experience.

Special social groups (disabled, immigrants etc)
Specialized groups (eg architects, digital artists, conservators of works of art, primary and secondary school teachers)
Individual visitors of all ages / social groups
Project duration: 30 months.

The three partners make up a mix of high-tech and research experience in different fields and complement each other.
